"the cuff at the ankle is already turned under and finished, so there's no hemming or guessing where they should hit. the barrel shape through the leg is so much more interesting than a straight leg. i've been wearing mine with a printed top tucked in, a scarf knotted on my bag, and stacked rings, there's plenty of room to build on top of these."
